This review does not include a review of Erosion & Sediment Control or Stormwater Management. Please adequately address the following comments for initial site plan approval: A. Application Information 1) Sheet C -501 indicates 21,400 sft of land disturbance is proposed and an increase in impervious surface on site is proposed. Please submit plans for conformance with county Water Protection Ordinance (application available here): <http: / /www.albemarle.ory,/upload /images /forms_center /departments /Community De velopment/forms/En-ineering and _WPO_Forms/WPO - _Application _Erosion _& Sediment_ Control_Plan.pdf> including erosion and sediment control and stormwater management (see Design Standards Manual for stormwater management plan and calculation guidance). B. Existing Conditions Information 1) Please provide date and source of topographic information. All topography should be at least visually field verified by the designer with the last year. 2) Please indicate dimensions and recorded deed book and page number for all existing easements including an existing gas line which appears on sheet C -102 C. Proposed Plan View Information 1) Please delineate each part of the approved site plan or the most recently approved site plan minor amendment plans (SDP2010- 00089) which is proposed to change by identifying in title sheet and on plan sheet or including supplemental sheets (see attached format example). 2) Please include proposed contours and spot elevations to ensure proposed parking lot does not contain any undrained pools. Engineering Review Comments Page 2 of 2 3) Please include railing for all proposed retaining walls taller than 4' including proposed 5' tall wall indicated on sheet C -202. 4) Please label limits of asphalt parking lot paving apparently proposed on sheet C- 202. 5) Please label and indicate all existing and proposed drainage structures. D. Proposed Plan Detail Information 1) Please include details for: a) Proposed retaining walls with and without handrails b) Any existing or proposed drainage in conflict with proposed retaining walls E. Drainage Profiles 1) Please include drainage profiles for all proposed pipes and ditches if applicable. F. Drainage Computations 1) Please include drainage computations to indicate proposed increase in impervious surfaces do not inundate existing (or proposed if applicable) drainage structures and conveyances.
