RE: Letter of Revision (LOR) #1 for SDP 19810022 — Mountain View Full Gospel Church Final Site Plan
Dear Ms Atkins,
This letter is in response to the attached LOR application dated April 18, 2013. The Department of Community
Development hereby grants approval of this LOR for the improvements described in the letter to Ron Higgins and
also shown on the enclosed sketch. This approval is subject to one condition from the County Engineer:
• "If the Church ever does an addition or other improvement that requires a site plan, they will also be
required to address Water Protection Ordinance requirements. The runoff from this driveway will be
treated at that time."
This is the 1" Letter of Revision for this site. A total of three (3) Letters of Revision are allowed before all
changes to the plan are required to be submitted in the form of a site plan amendment.

Dear Mr. Higgins;
This is a letter of revision to SDP 1981 -0221, Tax Map 69, Parcel 37 regarding Mountain
View Full Gospel Church, 1005 Smith Rd., Afton, Va.
As I mentioned at our meeting, we are proposing a graveled drive to the covered
handicapped ramp that accesses the basement. We have various activites, dinners,
breakfasts, etc. in our basement social hall. Our elderly and handicapped members find
it difficult to walk to reach this area. Therefore, we have been driving through the grass
to reach the ramp. A graveled drive would suit our needs perfectly.
As you can see from the enclosed sketch, entrance will be from the church driveway
and proceed past the ramp to a turn - around area. None of the large oak trees will be
affected in anyway.
Our plans are to re- landscape the area and plant grass adjacent to the new drive. We
want our church to continue to be an appealing addition to the neightborhood.
Favorable consideration of our revision request by the Department of Community
Development would be appreciated.
