Perez, Senior Planner Division: Zoning and Current Development Date: May 17, 2013 Subject: SDP 2007— 00155 Shadwell Market—LOR #2 (Generator) Fax 434-972-4126 The County of Albemarle Division of Current Development Planner will recommend approval of the plan referenced above once the following comments have been satisfactorily addressed (The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on further review.): [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.] 1. [Comment] On the sheets provided for the LOR the Revision dates do appear to match up with County Records. Specifically revision #4 dates 01/03/13. The County has no record of this revision date on any approved plans? What revision happened on this date? If applicable please remove this date. 2. [ARB Comments] On April 1, 2013, the ARB discussed the generator addition at Shadwell Market and provided the following direction: To be acceptable in the proposed location, the screening plants must be tall enough to obscure the equipment on "day one", the plants must obscure the equipment year-round, and the equipment must be painted green to blend with the plants. The ARB also asked for additional information on the location of the propane tank. The shrubs shown around the generator do not meet the ARB's screening requirement. Revise the plan as follows: 1. Provide screening plants tall enough and spaced sufficiently to obscure the equipment on "day one" and year-round. 2. Include a note on the plan that the equipment will be painted green to blend with the shrubs. 3. Include a note on the plan indicating the maximum equipment height, including any curbs, stands or support structures. 4. Indicate if a propane tank is proposed. If it is, provide all details.
