Randy — I will need to know by the end of the business day tomorrow whether or not the applicant is intending
to revise their channel letter sign proposal to meet the issues I identified in my email of 6 -4 -2013. The approved
criteria for Village Green (attached) only allow for panel signs — not channel letters.
The applicant does have the option to request an indefinite deferral of this review — to allow more time to decide
what they are doing. If they want to do that, you would simply have to reply to this email asking for an
indefinite deferral of ARB 201300064, Bangkok 99 sign.

The owner of Bangkok 99 is working with the owner of the building, they are going to let me know ASAP what
direction and how they are going to settle this. The owner signed the permit and is aware of it being a lighter
sign.
Next; what is the status of Market Street Wineshop sign permit I turned in the same day to you ? ??
Thanks

Randy —
I have completed my review of your sign proposal. It does not meet any of the approved sign
criteria for signs at Village Green Shopping Center. The approved criteria are for a panel sign,
centered above the business entrance, with an ivory color background, Forest Green letters and
Forest Green border. Illumination, if proposed, shall be external. These approved Comprehensive
Sign Criteria table is attached and located on the county web site Here.
Because the proposal does not meet the approved Comprehensive Sign Criteria for Village Green
Shopping Center, it cannot be administratively approved at this time. Please let me know by
Monday, June 10th as to whether you intend to revise the proposal to meet the approved
Comprehensive Sign Criteria.
