The following comments are recommended to the agent to be addressed before approval; 1. A site plan amendment for the Reserve must be approved, as some of the proposed improvements are on that site. Rev.2: The stormsewer connections are on the Reserve site. 2. The erosion and sediment control plans for the sites must be amended. Rev.2: no change. 3. The impact upon the stormwater management plans for the site must be quantified. These plans may need to be amended. Rev.2: no change. 4. "Alley C" does not appear to be an alley. It appears to be a primary access and should be designed as a road. (18- 32.7.3 & 14 -233B) a. Provide a minimum 24' width curb face to curb face. b. Provide a crown and stormwater runoff along the edges of the road. c. Use curb inlets and remove the grates from the middle of the pavement. d. Provide curbing on both sides and a VDOT standard entrance gutter or apron for the driveways. e. Provide the VDOT minimum entrance radii or greater. f. Provide a pavement design. g. Provide a turnaround meeting VDOT standards. Rev.2: The 14' travelway proposed is not adequate to be a primary access to units. A gravel shoulder with no curb is not an acceptable alternative to curbing and driveway aprons. It appears the revisions have addressed b, c, e and f. h1c: E2 mia GGB BclvcdcrcTC.doc
