Tanya - I understand the sign dimensions have been reduced to 67" (w) x 67" (t). Stewart Wright provided me with a
digital copy of the revised sign drawing. I have completed my review of this proposal. The following issues have been
identified that will need to be adequately addressed for an administrative approval.
ARB Review Fee
The sign permit cannot be issued until the required $120 ARB review fee has been paid. This will not hold up review of
the proposal, but will keep the permit from being issued once you have ARB approval. Make sure you indicate the check
is for ARB201300143, Ivy Provisions Sign.
Sign LiLigh_ ting_
The Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance requires that all exterior site /sign lighting that is 3,000 lumens or greater be a
full cutoff style fixture. Since the proposed fixture cannot be full cutoff, the LED bulb wattage will need to be under the
3,000 lumens threshold. Please revise the sign drawing to indicate the bulb wattage and provide proof of the number of
lumens emitted by that bulb wattage.
The Architectural Review Board requires the following note on all sign drawings where LED is proposed:
"The level of illumination provided by the LED lights will not exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30
milliamp (mo) neon."

Tanya - I have started my review and hope to wrap it up tomorrow. Unfortunately, the sign application submissions has
been heavier recently then we have ever witnessed (5 times normal) — so I am behind.

Hi Brent,
Just wanted to follow up on the status of the Ivy Provisions sign. I just spoke with Stewart and he said all was okay in
terms of zoning, he said it was in your court for ARB. The designer that had been working on the project moved up to DC
a couple weeks ago, so if you have any questions please let me know. Our client is getting antsy to get the sign up (aren't
they always!), so please let me know as soon as convenient.
