RE: SP201300022- Verizon Wireless "Hydraulic Road" Tier III PWSF
Dear Steve:
The Site Review Committee has reviewed the development proposal referenced above. Preliminary
comments for the following divisions of the Department of Community Development and other agencies,
as applicable, are below:
Albemarle County Division of Planning Services (Planner) —
1. The proposal does not meet section 5.1.40(b)(2) of the Ordinance regarding facility setbacks.
Either easements to obtain the required setback must be obtained from the surrounding properties,
or you must apply for a waiver (special exception) which will be acted on by the Board of
Supervisors. If applying for a waiver, please provide the distance necessary to meet the
ordinance standards.
2. As acknowledged in your application, a waiver of section 5.140(c)(3)(i) regarding the total
number of antenna arrays is necessary. This information will be provided to the Board with the
staff report.
