Please adequately address the following comments for final approval: 1. Site plan a. This site plan appears to be contingent on the completion (installation) of the road plans (SUB201300179) and Stormwater Plans (WP0201300079) prior to issuance of a Grading Permit for this site. b. Retailing walls are very tall and step back with each course. Please show actual construction thickness of face of wall /footing to back of wall/top on the plan view sheets. c. Stormwater drainage easements in accordance with ACDSM will be shown on the site plan. Drainage easement size is required to establish building clearance and clearance for future repair /replacement of pipes. d. Please state on plans the class of concrete to be utilized for dumpster pad, curbing, sidewalks etc. 2. Road and drainage plans a. VDOT approval is required. Comments will be forwarded when received. Please certify on the plan sheets that the topography has been visually verified within the last year and is the same as the last dated survey. (policy) b. Please clearly label benchmark locations, elevations and datum for topography on the plan sheets. (policy) Engineering Review Comments Page 2 of 2 c. Please show all critical slopes on the final site plan. d. Please clearly indicate all limits of right -of -way on the site plan. e. Please show sight distance lines on site plan for all intersections and entrances. f. Commercial entrances will be shown on site plan with VDOT designations. Once these comments have been addressed, please submit 4 copies of the revised plans, calculations, and narratives to Current Development Engineering. Current Development Engineering is available from 2:30 -4 PM on Thursdays to discuss these review comments.
