Subject: SUB - 2014 -029- Turkey Run- Drainage Easement Plat
The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County
Department Community Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above
when the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are
those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added
or eliminated based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference
to the Albemarle County Code.]
1. [14 -302 (A)(3)] Existing or platted streets. Provide the deed book and page number for
Courtenay Glen Way. Also, provide the width of the right of way.
2. [14 -302 (A)(11)] Instrument creating property proposed for subdivision. Provide the
deed book and page number for Lot 5, TMP 114 -72E.
3. [14 -302 (A)(15)] Indentification of all owners and certain interest holders. Provide the
owners address on the plat.
4. [14 -303 (A)] Statement of consent to division. The subdivision ordinance was modified,
and this section changed due to State Code changes. Revise the statement with
modification to read: "The platting or dedication of the following described land [insert
a correct description of the land subdivided, eg Tax Map and Parcel] is with the free
consent and in accordance with the desire of the undersigned owners, proprietors and
trustees, if any."
5. [14 -433] Provide a deed for the drainage easement. I have attached a template that can
be used. This will need to be reviewed and approved by the County Attorney.
