Subject: SDP2014 -015 Commonwealth Townhouses -Major Amendment
The Planner for the Planning Services Division of the Albemarle County Department
Community Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above when the
following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those
that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added
or eliminated based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable
reference to the Albemarle County Code.]
Planning
(29 fee — Disregard comment. This was regarding the aisle width,
which applies to 10 x 18 parking spaces, not 9 x 18 as is proposed and
correctly meets the 24' width per the ordinance.
2. [4.12.13] Under 4.12.13(c)(2), one loading space is required meeting the design
requirements of 4.12.18.
3. [30.7.5] The preserved slopes must be labeled and the design requirements must
be met. The proposed retaining wall will not meet the current standards. See
engineering comments.
