Preliminary comments for the following divisions of the Department of Community Development and other agencies, as applicable, are below: Albemarle County Division of Planning Services (Planner) — 1. [Section 5.1.40(c)(3)]. Antennas and Associated Equipment. Please confirm the size of the Tower Mounting Amplifiers. 2. [Section 5.1.40(a)(5)]. Photographs. No photographs were submitted with this application. Technically the application is incomplete. 3. [Section 5.1.50(6)]. Balloon Tests. To date, no balloon test has been scheduled for this site. A formal review of the visual impact cannot be determined at this point. Please schedule the test and provide photo - simulations. 4. [Section 30.6.1]. Entrance Corridor. This facility is located in the Entrance Corridor and will require a separate submittal to the ARB. 5. [Section 5.1.40(d)(6)]. Height of Monopole. Please confirm the height of the monopole and reference tree on the plans. For example, sheet A -2 lists the monopole and reference tree at the same height. Albemarle County Engineering Division — 1. The application plan appears to show over 10,000 square feet of proposed land disturbance and requires a WPO (Water Protection Ordinance) plan, Application and fee. It is recommended that the WPO plan must be approved prior to final site plan approval per chapter 17 of the County of Albemarle Code. Page 2 March 31, 2014 Virginia Department of Transportation - 1. See attached comments. Comments reflect information available at the time the development proposal was reviewed, and should not be considered final. However, the Site Review Committee has attempted to identify all issues that could affect approval of the proposed project. Please make the revisions that have been identified as necessary for preliminary approval by the Site Review Committee. If you choose not to make the requested revisions, please submit in writing justification for not incorporating such revisions. Submit (4) four [11" x 17 "] copies to the Department of Community Development including responses to each of the attached comments of the Site Review Committee by Monday, April 14, 2014. Failure to submit this information by this date will result in suspension of the review schedule. Review will resume when revisions are submitted along with a reinstatement fee of $65.
