Re: SUB- 2013 -006 Peabody School -- Major Amendment
Dear Ms. Yaniglos:
We have reviewed the Major Site Plan Amendment for the Peabody School dated 1122113 with revisions
dated 4126113 and 6113113 as submitted by Collins Engineering and offer the following comments:
The waterline relocation shown on sheet 4 will require a Land Use Permit obtained from this
office prior to the work beginning.
The landscaping shown with the proposed landscape maintenance easement on sheet 6 will
require a Land Use Permit. This can be incorporated into the same Land Use Permit for the
waterline relocation. Furthermore, a landscape maintenance agreement will be required for the
landscaping within the right -of -way.
The landscaping within the right -of -way must be located such that it does not impact drainage
within the right -of -way or the intersection sight distance at the intersection of Stoney Ridge Road
and Southern Parkway. This will be verified at the time of planting.
The site plan was found to be technically adequate and VDOT has no objections to approval. Should the
safety, maintenance, or use of the site's entrance or the right -of -way in the vicinity of the project change,
VDOT reserves the right to reevaluate this project. After obtaining the required Land Use Permit and at
least 48 hours prior to work on the waterline beginning, this office shall be notified.
