Engineering has completed the review of application WP0201400016.
A. SWM and Erosion & Sediment Control (WP0201400016)
1) [Comment] This is an E &S and SWM plan. This should be on the title page and not "Minor Site
Plan Amendment."
[Revision 11 Comment addressed.
2) [Comment] Has a minor site plan application been submitted? Please clarify if this is required.
[Revision 11 Comment addressed. A minor site plan has been submitted and is pending
approval.
3) [Comment] When this plan is ready to approve, please provide the original signature and date on
all 4 copies.
[Revision 11 Comment acknowledged.
4) [Comment] The vicinity map is too dark. Please lighten to clarify where site is.
[Revision 11 Comment addressed.
5) [Comment] Please show at least 50' of topo south of site. This area also contains "managed
slopes." Please show and label "managed slopes" on plan. If site encroaches on slopes, section
30.7.5 of the Albemarle County Code shall be met.
[Revision 11 Comment addressed. Applicant verified proposed sidewalk is not encroaching
on managed slopes.
6) [Comment] Show all existing easements on site. Also, does the drainage pipe south of site have
an existing easement? Please show if it does. Bldg must not encroach on easement.
[Revision 11 Comment addressed. Applicant verified there are no easements within this area
of the site.
7) [Comment] Show the overall area of site to show where runoff all drains to. If parking lot and
expanded portion of bldg all drain to the same facility, the quality tradeoff being proposed will be

adequate.
[Revision 11 Comment partially addressed. The quality tradeoff has been verified since the
impervious areas in question are within the same drainage area. However, detention and the
condition of existing BMP has not been verified. Show the BMP where this DA drains to.
Also, prove that the existing facility can still manage detention of 10 year storm with the
additional impervious area. Provide a copy of the recorded SWM agreement for this existing
BMP. The SWM agreements may need to include this WPO plan.
8) [Comment] Show a construction entrance. The CE should be included in the limits of disturbance
(LOD). Also, show the paved construction entrance detail from the Albemarle County Design
Standards Manual.

9) [Comment] Show filterra within the LOD.
[Revision 11 Comment addressed.
10) [Comment] Include the pavement striping removal and restriping area within the LOD. Include
other items to be removed within the LOD.
