The Road Plan Amendment plan received 12 May 2014 has been reviewed by the County
Engineering Department of Community Development and VDOT and does not appear to meet the
minimum requirements for approval. Please adequately address the following comments prior to
resubmitting:
Road and drainage plans (SUB201400079)
VDOT comments:
1. It is unclear which inlet the revised spread calculations apply to.
2. The proposed amendments to the road plan listed on the cover page do not include the revised
spread calculations.
3. It is not clear how the sidewalk connection on the East side of Farrow Drive at the intersection
with Butler St. is going to be made
4. There is a note indicating that the sidewalk/right -of -way is going to be revised to accommodate the
planting strip at the intersection of Butler St. with Farrow Drive and Dabney Grove, however, the
proposed landscaping is not shown to see how the proposed change will impact it.
County Engineering comments:
1. Road profile is missing from submittal.
2. Please show the station that will be the end of the phase and how the area ties into the grading.
3. This plan will replace the approved road plan and will require all the information from the
approved plan for this phase of the project; this will be the construction document for Belvedere
Phase II, Phase 1 Road Plan.
Once these comments have been addressed, please submit 4 copies of the revised plans, calculations, and
narratives to Current Development Engineering along with the required review fee and transmittal form.
