This was sudden and unexpected to say the least. As discussed, you are agreeing to revise the application to address all of the comments I provided with the exception of the sign panel background color. The Architectural Review Board (ARB) would need to agree to amend the Comprehensive Sign Criteria for your building by adding the additional dark red sign panel background color. You indicated that you could get me revised drawings by next week. Please provide something in writing from the landlord indicating they approve this requested change in color. It would help if you would reference the Pantone color number for the shade of dark red you are proposing. I have completed my review and the following issues have been identified that will need to be adequately addressed for my administrative (ARB) approval. Sign Drawing/Sign Photo - Rendering - Coordination: • The sign drawing shows two versions of the same sign and with different designs (colors). Revise by providing only one sign drawing /design. • The sign shown in the photo- rendering is not the same design as the sign on the sign drawing. Revise so they match. • The sign type in the photo- rendering is individual letters mounted directly to the building wall. Approved CSC require a wall panel sign type. Revise the photo- rendering to show a wall panel sign type. Sign Drawing/Missing Information: • Either physical color samples of all proposed colors are to be provided or the Pantone color numbers for those colors are to be noted on the sign drawing. Neither colors samples nor Pantone numbers are required for black or white colors. • Revise the photo - rendering to indicate the height of the wall area that shows between the top and bottom of the sign and the windows above and below. Sing Background Panel Color: One of the sign drawings shows a dark red panel background color. Approved CSC limit panel background colors to white or blue. Revise the proposal to show a white or blue background color. Sign Text Color: Proposed sign text colors include white and tan. Approved CSC text colors include light blue, red, black & white but do not include tan. Revise the proposal to show only approved text colors. Sian Illumination: It appears the sign is to be non - illuminated. If that is correct, include a note on the drawing indicating it is to be non - illuminated.
