Ray, Jr. Managing Member Parkside I, LLC Re: Glenwood Station Mr. Ray, I have reviewed the County files in response to your bond inspection request. We have an as -built plan from 2009, as well as copies of recorded plats, both are satisfactory. The drainage system was reviewed with Parham Construction Company in the Spring of 2013 and was found satisfactory. The County has received test reports for the asphalt and stone base for the road and tests appears satisfactory. The last missing pieces appear to be the CBR and the Compaction reports. The Site work did not require much fill material so the compactions tests are not required for this bond release. However the CBR tests need to be submitted and the previous problems identified with the asphalt driveway aprons have not been corrected as requested in the last inspection. The trees have grown and are blocking the use of the sidewalk and sight distances from the driveways and need to be trimmed up to at least 7' in height for safety. The Road bond is currently $220,830 and can be reduced to $64,000 at this time. Although the sidewalks and curbs appear to have been previously approved, there's a lot of damaged and broken concrete and the pavement is breaking up where the divided travel ways come together. This office requires the CBR test results, repairing the damaged concrete, and overlaying the asphalt prior to requesting the final road bond release. Sincerely, Max Greene County Engineering Technician MRG/ Copy: file
