This plan proposes to add an entrance gate and card reader for the two entrances into the Arden Place Apartments. Due to cut - through traffic through the development, it is necessary to add the gate system and card reader to eliminate cars passing through the development to by -pass the stoplight at Rio Road. The owner and Collins Engineering have worked with Fire and Rescue on some modifications to the original design, and have received approval on the design from them, see attached email. This is the third letter of revision for the subject site plan. The applicant acknowledges that a total of three (3) letters of revision are allowed. A system has also been installed on the gates that will open up the gates for fire trucks and other first responders in the situation that the emergency responders need to gain access to the development. Do you want to go out to the site and verify that these have been done as discussed. Once you are comfortable with that, would it be possible to get a memo from you stating that Fire /Rescue can approve the entrance modification?
