Subject: SUB 201400103 Goodell /Lots 2 and 2A —Two lot

The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the two lot subdivision plat
referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the
applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision /Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14- 302(8)] Reservoir watershed. Amend watershed note to state that property is not within water
supply watershed.
2. [14- 303(E)] Dimension standards and information on all lots, streets, alleys, easements, and shared
driveways. Add note, or amend existing note, stating that maintenance shall be by the owners of the
lots affected by the shared driveway easement, not by the Virginia Department of Transportation or
the county.
3. [14 -310 & 14 -416] Health Director approval. Health Department approval for the proposed subdivision
is required prior to final approval of plat. Soils data has been forwarded to VDH.
4. [14 -316] Approval of entrance onto public streets. Provide evidence of VDOT approval of proposed
entrance.
5. [14 -317] Instrument evidencing maintenance of certain improvements. Provide a copy of the
maintenance agreement for the shared driveway for review by the County Attorney.
6. [Comment] Structure on lot 2A appears to be incorrectly labeled as Bread and Breakfast. Amend label.
