The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the two lot subdivision plat
referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the
applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision /Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14- 302(A) 2] Vicinity map. Provide a scale on the vicinity map. Scale of the vicinity map should be 1
inch equal to 2,000 feet.
2. [14- 302(A) 9] Building sites on proposed lots. A building site may not contain any area of land that is in
critical slopes. Parcel X does not appear to have a building site complying with the requirements of 18-
4.2. Please provide evidence of a building site on Parcel X. Alternatively you may apply for a special
exception from this requirement.
3. [14- 302(8) 10] Stream buffers. Please add a note to the plat indicating that any future improvements
to the road or driveways serving these lots within the stream buffer will require the submittal of a
WPO plan.
4. [14 -309 & 310] Soil evaluations and Health Director approval. Provide soil evaluations to determine
the suitability of the soil for subsurface drainfields. Health Department approval for the proposed
subdivision is required prior to final approval of plat.
S. [14 -316] Approval of entrance onto public streets. Provide evidence of VDOT approval of entrance onto
Route 634.
