I have reviewed the site plan (rev. 7/29/14) and canopy elevation sheet (rev. 7- 22 -14) for the Briarwood Commercial
project recently submitted to address my 7/23/2014 comments. I have the following updated comments:
1. This submittal includes an earlier version of sheet 9, so updates made after the May 5 ARB meeting no longer appear
on this sheet. Please provide the correct updated version of sheet 9 in the site plan set.
2. On sheet 8, the canopy for the red maple was reduced from 452 to 234. Please explain and correct.
3. On sheet 8, 21 IN appear in the schedule and 12 are drawn on the plan. Please explain and correct.
Also, please note that the shrub planting proposed at walls 1 and 2 complies with the ARB's requirements outlined in the
June 23, 2014 meeting. However, the vines may not survive given the close spacing of the shrubs. I am happy to consider
alternate spacing if you would like to improve the chances for survivability of the vines.
Please provide:
1. One set of revised drawings addressing the comments listed above. Include updated revision dates on each drawing.
2. A memo including detailed responses indicating how each condition has been satisfied. If changes other than those
requested have been made, identify those changes in the memo also.
3. The attached "Revised Application Submittal" form. This form must be returned with your revisions to ensure proper
tracking and distribution.
When staffs review of this information indicates that all conditions of approval have been met, a Certificate of
Appropriateness may be issued.
