Subject: SDP - 2013 -042 New Hope Church- Final Site Plan
The Planner for the Planning Services Division of the Albemarle County Department Community
Development has the following comments (The following comments are those that have been
identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based
on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle
County Code.]
1. [32.7.9.6(b)] Provide information on how many parking lot trees are required and how
many are provided with a notation on the plan.
Rev1: Comment not addressed correctly. There are 73 parking spaces, which would
equal 7.3 trees. You need to round up instead of down, 8 trees are required.
2. Sheet L2 has a typo- Improvements is spelled incorrectly.
Rev1: Comment addressed.
3. Comment (not requirement): Has the private issue with the well be resolved with GE? If
you have any documentation, please submit it for our file.
Rev1: There was not response to this question. If this has been resolved, please
confirm.
4. The gas line notes are not shown in the correct spot on sheet C3. Revise.
S. The gas line is shown in the incorrect location on the landscape plan. Revise to ensure
that there are not conflicts with proposed landscaping.
6. Show the correct critical slopes on the landscape plan, there appear to be areas
missing.
7. Take the proposed sign off of the landscape plan. The sign will need to be approved
under a different process, and requires a sign permit.
8. Show the correct /last revision date on the cover page.
9. Add the signature panel to the cover sheet. A template is attached.
