On April 10, 2013, the Board of Supervisors, by a vote of 6:0, deferred the above noted
petition to April 15, 2015 based on the proposal as presented to the Planning
Commission and the work necessary to address the Planning Commission's
recommendations.

Dear Mr. Wood:
On December 5, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved your request for extension of
deferral for the above noted zoning map amendment to allow you additional time to
determine how to address the Planning Commission's recommendations made in its
action of February 8, 2011. Please recall that the Commission recommended approval
based on the following:
1. Change Proffer #11 Phasing Plan to reduce from 30 to 25 the number of building
permits for residential units that must be issued prior to issuance of building
permits authorizing up to 75,000 square feet of commercial /office;
2. Proffer #6 will remain as it is with the understanding that the applicant will add
another pocket park within blocks B -1 or B -2 composed of approximately 5,500
square feet; and,
3. Proffer #2 for road improvements to be amended as recommended by staff for
dedication and construction of road improvements upon demand of the County.
This extension was granted by the Board until no later than April 15, 2013.
Please be advised that in order to have a public hearing � advertised for the last
scheduled April Board of Supervisors meeting, April 10 , and not have the petition be
deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn, material to be reviewed by staff and
considered at that public hearing must be re- submitted by February 4, 2013. This
allows for staff's review comments to be provided to you on March 6, 2013 in advance
of the legal ad for the public hearing being ordered. Should you instead choose to
simply have the request as presented to the Commission proceed to Board public
hearing without changes, the final proffers and application plan reflecting what was
proposed to the Commission must be submitted by March 4, 2013.

I trust this further extension will enable you to complete the work necessary to bring
ZMA2010 -00013 Hollymead Town Center A -2 to public hearing with the Board of
Supervisors before April 15, 2013. Please coordinate with Claudette Grant, the planner
now coordinating review of this proposal, regarding the submittal of information for a
Board of Supervisors public hearing. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you
have any questions.
