To the County Engineer:
SRC, Inc., headquartered in Syracuse, NY is a not - for - profit, research and development company that
develops unique, creative solutions for nationally significant challenges in defense, environmental and
intelligence. SRC employs over 1,000 people and have offices in 13 locations, along with numerous
customer support sites throughout the United States. SRC is proposing to relocate approximately 10 —12
personnel from our existing office suite located at 941 Glenwood Station Lane, Suite 301, Charlottesville,
VA 22901 to the North Fork Research Park, Town Center 2 building located at 1001 Research Park Blvd,
Charlottesville, VA 22911 It is my understanding that in order to occupy this space, we will need to
submit this Letter of Performance Standards along with our Zoning Clearance Application.
We have addressed the performance standards of Zoning Ordinance Section 18 -4:14.
Noise
SRC's operation will not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the values specified in section
4:14.1.
Vibration
SRC's operation will not produce any detectable earthborn vibrations.
Glare
SRC's operation is completely contained within the building. The interior lighting associated with this
operation does not produce glare that is visible beyond the lot line.
Air Pollution
There will be no emission of smoke, odor or gaseous pollutants.
Water Pollution
No liquid wastes will be generated by this operation. Our operation does not represent a hazard to water
quality.
Radioactivity
SRC's operation does not require handling of radioactive materials. There will be no radioactive
emissions.
Electrical Interference
SRC's operation does not require any equipment that would generate electrical disturbances that would
adversely affect the operation of equipment on any other lot or premises.
