The majority of our business will be acting as a manufacturer's representative and marketing firm. All other activity would be performed at gun shows, local firearms dealers or over the internet. If we ever see a need to adjust our focus in the future, we would secure the appropriate facility well in advance. Therefore, Eleven Bravo Tactical will act in accordance of the zoning ordinance and the conditions of the issued Class A Home Occupancy Clearance. To be clear, we will NOT have a necessity for customer visits to the home and acknowledge this restriction as a requirement of the maintaining the zoning clearance. If you could acknowledge that this satisfies your concerns, as soon as possible, we would greatly appreciate it. Mrs. Parrish would like to forward our application to the next step on Tuesday morning, so would need to demonstrate our mutual understanding by close of business on Monday. A simple reply to all of to this email would suffice. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions. I do need clarification on what business would be conducted from the home, you mention there may be the infrequent customer visit. Gun sales from the home would not be permitted. I have in copy, Gwen Parrish of the ATF. I wanted to make sure we have an open channel of communication in hopes of avoiding any confusion regarding the intentions of Eleven Bravo Tactical. Eleven Bravo Tactical has applied for a Type 7 Federal Firearms License, Title 1 manufacturer of firearms, who may also act as dealer. This will be a home based FFL and will NOT be a retail, walk-in location. Our primary function from this location is business management and marketing functions. Any potential visits to this location would be by invitation and appointment only and will be within the guidelines outlined in Section 5.2 of the County Zoning Ordinance and as described in the attached Albemarle County Class A Home Occupancy Clearance #2013-5. Eleven Bravo Tactical's primary activity in this location is office/service oriented and our product sales channel will be handled via internet sales and off-site selling at firearm shows or other official events. No employees report to, or work, from this location. The infrequent need for visitors to this home office would be well within accordance to the Section 5.2(e) of the zoning ordinance regarding Traffic. We have not applied for a local business license as our sales are anticipated to be less than $5,000 and exempt from the business license requirement at this time. In the normal course of our operation, a visitor may be invited to the home based office to complete and submit ATF related documents for the legal transfer of a firearm. These instances would not be commonplace in our daily operation. If you could acknowledge for Mrs. Parrish that our intentions would be in compliance with the conditions for the occupancy clearance we have been issued, I would greatly appreciate it. Our FFL license is in a holding pattern awaiting your acknowledgement, therefore time is of the essence. This license is required before Eleven Bravo Tactical can begin establishing relationships in our industry. Please let me know if I can assist in any way to expedite this process.
