This use was approved by Special Use Permit, SP -1998- 43, on October 21, 1998 by the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors. ■ The property is zoned C -1, Commercial. Per Section 22.2.2.6 and 18.2.2.9, assisted living adult care facilities are allowed in the C -1 District by Special Use Permit. ■ An amendment to the original Special Use Permit, SP- 2002 -018, to increase the allowable number of beds on the property from 60 to 90 was approved on July 3, 2002, which allows the present use. ■ The parcel is located within the Airport Impact Area. ■ This project was built under a site development plan, SDP - 2000 -012, approved on May 19, 2000 and revised on September 25, 2001 and Mrs. Virginia Tahboub September 7, 2012 Page 2 November 19, 2003. The plan was also amended by SDP - 2001 -002, which was approved on February 20, 2001. ■ This office has no record of any outstanding zoning violations. The property was re- inspected for zoning compliance on September 4, 2012 and determined to be in compliance with the approved site plan and Special Permit conditions.
