To the County Engineer:
We are a small landscaping business working in residential and commercial settings. We store the normal
equipment for landscaping like mowers, weed eaters, pickup trucks, etc... We have a total of ten (1) permanent
employees.
We have addressed the performance standards of Zoning Ordinance Section 18 -4.14:
Noise: Our operation will not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the values specified in Section
4.14.1. We are surrounded by similar businesses with a chain link fence on three sides and our building on the
fourth side. Our major sources of noise are: 1) people talking, (2) trucks starting and running, (3) mowers
starting and then loading on to the trucks and delivery of small materials.
Vibration: We operate no equipment in our facility to causes significant vibration.
Glare: Our operation is housed in our building and in the fenced in lot at 1518 Viola Way. There is no lighting
other than the lights inside the building.
Air Pollution: There will be no emission of smoke, odor or gaseous pollutants.
Water Pollution: No liquid wastes will be generated by this operation. Our operation does not represent a
hazard to water quality as we are only storing our equipment and maintaining our equipment in our building.
Radioactivity: My operation does not require handling of radioactive materials. There will be no radioactive
emissions.
Electrical Interference: My operation does not require any equipment that would generate electrical
disturbances.
