Subject: Charlottesville Ballet Zoning Clearance
Hello,
I am reviewing your zoning clearance for your new location in Albemarle. I will need some additional
information to determine required parking. I am also working with the property owner to determine required
parking for all uses, including yours, as well as potential new tenants, for the entire site.
• Please confirm the entire square footage you will use within the building and provide updated floor plan
sketches with proposed uses labeled (studio, etc.). The one provided just has "room 101 ", etc. on the plan. We
do not yet have any floor plans or sketches for the Phase 2 area of our space. Once I have these from our
architect I will send them to you. As for total square footage it is app. 4,650 sq. ft.
• Please provide a full description of programs and classes that will take place at this location. I took a look
at your website but wasn't sure if you would be conducting more than one class at a time at this site? We will
be rehearsing the professional company dancers during the day app. (9:30am- 2:30pm- All of the (9)
dancers currently carpool in 2- cars and plan on continuing this since they either live together or work
their evening jobs at the same location). As for the Academy we will be offering classes for ages 3 -adult
in all genres of dance. We have not yet confirmed our schedule for this location, but plan on offer 2-
classes at a time that will start and end about 15 -20 minutes before or after each other.
• What will the largest class size be? This will depend on the amount of Ballet Barre space we have, but
as a professional training school we plan on keeping our classes sizes very small to ensure individualized
attention. At our current location our largest current class has 9- students and we hope to keep it at a
max of 10- students at the new space.
• When will classes take place throughout the day? Professional Company: App. 9:30am- 2:30pm &
Academy: App. Monday- Thursday 4:00- 8:30pm & Saturdays 9:00am- 1:OOpm (On Saturdays we will
probably only have one class running at a time).
Please give me a call if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Rebecca

IONFormaldehyde -free Fiber Glass Insulation
Johns Manville
JM CERTIFIED FORMALDEHYDE-FREE" FIBER GLASS INSULATION
JM Formaldehyde -free` fiber glass building insulation offers the thermal and acoustical performance you
expect from fiber glass —and it improves indoor air quality because it's made without formaldehyde. Why
is that important? Because reducing overall formaldehyde levels in the home creates a healthier living
environment, and choosing JM Formaldehyde -free" insulation is one way of achieving that goal. JM offers
the only complete line of certified Formaldehyde - free" fiber glass building insulation. Visit spec,1M.com or
JMhomeowner.com for more information.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Johns Manville Attic Protector blow -in fiber glass insulation is a premium alternative to cellulose. It's blown
in to cover attics and hard -to -reach areas within attics, such as corners, edges and around framing. When it's
applied to the recommended thickness and specifications, you can be assured that your home is energy
efficient, with minimal heat loss. And unlike cellulose, it won't appreciably settle, decay or provide food for
animals or microbes. It's effective for the life of your home.
APPLICATIONS
• Attics — can be installed up to R -70 over h" ceiling drywall without exceeding ceiling weight limits.
INSTALLATION
Attic Protector fiber glass makes it easy to insulate an attic of any size or shape without any cutting or fitting.
It's installed with a blowing machine and flexible hose that make it easy to insulate hard -to -reach areas
in an attic. Large areas and small gaps can be filled quickly and completely.
PACKAGING
Attic Protector insulation is compression - packaged for savings in storage and freight costs.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Store insulation indoors. Keep insulation clean and dry at all times. When transporting, cover completely with
a waterproof tarpaulin as necessary.
SPECIFICATION COMPLIANCE
ASTM C764, Type I, standard specification for mineral fiber loose -fill thermal insulation
ASTM E84 Flame Spread 25 or less, Smoke Developed 50 or less
ASTM E136 Noncombustible
ASTM C764 Noncorrosive
LIMITATIONS OF USE
Check applicable building codes.

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
• Improves indoor air quality — because it's made
without formaldehyde.
• Thermal efficiency— provides effective resistance
to heat transfer over a range of R- values.
• Sound control — reduces transmission of sound
through ceiling assemblies.
• Fire resistant and noncombustible — unlike
cellulose, does not contain added fire - retardant
chemicals. See Specification Compliance.
• Noncorrosive — does not accelerate corrosion of
pipes, wiring or metal studs.
• Durable — will not rot, mildew or otherwise
deteriorate. Unlike cellulose, JM Attic Protector
insulation will not hold moisture and will not
suffer permanent loss of R- value.
• Fast, clean applications — quickly insulates
spaces of any size or shape without cutting or
fitting. Installs with minimal dust.
• Complete coverage— effective in tight spaces,
areas with large amounts of cross - bridging and
areas with small gaps and voids.
