Under Section 17 -213 of the Albemarle County Code, this is your NOTICE TO COMPLY with the
requirements of your Erosion Control Permit for the referenced project and to immediately take corrective
measures that address the erosion and sediment control deficiencies on the property. The specific
deficiencies and measures required to correct those deficiencies are as follows:
✓1) Deficiency: The approved plans do not show the two temporary soil stockpiles located on the
project.
Required Corrections: Submit a plan amendment showing the location of the two temporary
soil stockpiles and erosion control measures to protect them.
2) Deficiency: Slopes and soil stockpile area as you enter the project are not stabilized.
Required Corrections: Stabilize the area with seed and straw mulch.
X 3) Deficiency: On Lots 63 to 86, the lots and rear slopes are eroding.
Required Corrections: Repair the rear slopes and lots and stabilize with seed and straw mulch.
Silt fence may be required along the back of the curb to prevent silt material from entering the
street.
�! 4) Deficiency: No inlet protection has been installed on the project.
Required Corrections: Install inlet protection at all inlet as required on the approved plans,

5) Deficiency: On Lots 87 to 93, the lots and rear slopes are eroding.
Required Corrections: Repair rear slopes and lots and stabilize with seed and straw mulch. Silt
fence may be required along the back of the curb to prevent silt material from entering the street.
6) Deficiency: Soil stock pile located on Avinity Court and adjoining the sediment basin is eroding.
Required Corrections: Repair eroded areas around the soil stockpile and sediment basin and
apply seed and straw mulch to the area, Silt fence may be required along the back of the curb
adjoining the soil stockpile and sediment basin to prevent silt material from entering the street.
/, 7) Deficiency: Area adjoining access road to property next door is severely eroded.
Required Corrections: Repair eroded area and access road, then apply seed and straw mulch to
area.
X 8) Deficiency: Open channel from back of drop inlet structure into sediment basin is eroding.
Required Corrections: Clean channel for positive drainage and stabilize with rip -rap, seed, and
straw mulch.
X 9) Deficiency: Diversion dikes on each side of the sediment basin dam are in need of repair.
Required Corrections: Install diversion dikes as shown on the approved plan with protective
covering parallel to the direction of flow to the basin.
✓10) Deficiency: Top on riser structure in sediment basin is incorrect for sediment basin design,
Required Corrections: Replace top on riser structure with 72" dia. x 21" high, 16ga. gals, steel
anti- vortex device. The sediment basin may also need to be cleaned out /silt material removed. I
will check this once the water level goes down and report back to you.
X 11) Deficiency: As part of your VSMP Stormwater Permit you are to have a controlled and protected
area for concrete truck wash out and building material debris. Per my inspection, I found concrete
wash outs spotted around, building debris, paper bags, plastic bottles, and other debris.
Required Corrections: Locate and protect an area where concrete trucks can waste wash out
material. Check with your engineer on the above requirement, per your VSMP permit,
As stated on the approved plans; The developer shall reserve the right to install, maintain, remove or
convert to permanent stormwater management facilities where applicable all erosion control measures
required by this plan regardless of the sale of any lot, unit, building or other portion of the property.

The above noted corrections and /or repairs must be completed on or before the end of the workday

The project will receive a re- inspection fee of $250,00, when I return to inspect the above noted items.
Should all items not be complete the project will be charged $250.00 for each re- inspection until the site
is in compliance,
