ORGANIZATION: SHIMP ENGINEERING PHONE NUMBER: RE: PANTOPS CORNER DEVELOPMENT VOLUME COMPARISON MEMO MEMORANDUM ❑ URGENT ❑ FOR REVIEW ❑ PLEASE COMMENT ❑ PLEASE REPLY Pantops Corner — Volume Comparison Study Introduction X FOR YOUR USE The purpose of this memo is to provide a brief summary of potential increases in volumes at the Route 250 / Route 20 intersection for various types and sizes of developments. The goal of the memo is to demonstrate that likely development proposals for this site would result in trip generation scenarios that only create a small increase in overall traffic volumes at the subject intersection (250/20). For comparison purposes, this study uses the build condition volumes for the pending Riverside development, in year 2018 once that site is fully constructed and occupied. The methodology for this study is to provide a percentage comparison for the trip generation of prototypical development versus the total number of trips in the AM and PM peak hours that are expected to be at the Route 250 /Route 20 intersection. A summary table follows, and the excerpted build condition volume graphic from the Riverside study is attached. ATTACHMENT II EPH637 EPR, P.C.
