USDA Soil Survey designates these soils as"severely erosive"with high rates of stormwater run-off. Therefore,the narrative should warn the contractor of this fact. 2. Please update the inlet protection description to match this plan submittal. No drop or curb inlets are shown on this submittal. 3. Va. Tech soil PH testing cost(revised in 2001) is a$7.00 fee. Please update the cost in the narrative. The kits are available from the Community Development Department at no cost. 4. Please include accurate construction details for the E&SC perimeter control structures. These details will clarify the responsibility of the contractor and the inspector will be approving prior to clearing and grading the project drainage areas. 5. Perimeter control E&SC structure#2 will be designed as a basin due to the total drainage area to the outlet area of the structure. Bottom dimensions are required. 6. Sediment settling structures will be designed with a minimum 2:1 inlet to outlet flow ratio or show a baffle per VESCH pages III-92 to III-94. 7. Please show the grading required for constructing the sediment control structures.
