RE: SP200600040 Lethal Wrecker
Dear Mr. Snow:
This letter is to request your assistance in helping the Community Development Division of
Albemarle County bring closure to projects which have been lying dormant for some time. On
October 29, 2006, Mr. George Morris made an application for a Special Use Permit to allow a
wrecking service in the Snow's center on Avon Street Extended. You are receiving this letter
because you are the owner of the property.
The County provided comments to Mr. Morris on December 20, 2006. From our files, it
appears that Mr. Morris never resubmitted. We assume that Mr. Morris no longer intends to
pursue this request. Because it has been almost seven years since we provided comments, it is
important that we either officially close this file or have a request for deferral in writing.
Please let us know. within 30 days whether or not this project should remain active. If you wish
to pursue the project, a formal request for a deferral is needed by November 29, 2013. If we
have not heard from you in.writing by November 29, 2013, we will consider the application for
the special use permit for a wrecking service withdrawn.
