We will go ahead and list the race. I called the insurance company (USA Track and Field) and addressed your concerns. The insurance covers the day of the race AND all race - related activities in preparation for and clean -up from the race. I will get additional insurance certificates for all third parties, including the 5 you listed. I also amended the liability waiver on the registration form to include the 5 names you gave me. As soon as I complete the insurance paperwork, I'll send you a copy. Thanks and I hope you and/or some of your colleagues can make it out for the race. Deborah, The parcels in question for Red Light Management are 56 -95A, 56 -9513, and 56H -13. We may also use part of 56 -53 depending on the finalized route (VDOT and Westhall dependant). As for access, we would like to be allowed to access the property a few times prior to the race (once in August or September and again in mid - October) to clear an approximately 6' wide path (using bushhog, string trimmer, mower, pruners or similar) and check for runner obstructions. Chris, I am the volunteer coordinator for a group in Crozet, VA and we have held a 5k Trail Race for the last 2 years in Old Trail, Crozet (in mid - October). We'd like to move the run to Crozet Park this year and so I was hoping that your family would grant us a 1 -day easement to run a piece of the race along the back edge of your property (between Crozet Park and the new WestHall neighborhood). We require all participants to sign a waiver (to which we can add your name) and we also have race insurance in case of any accidents. Please see the two attached files (insurance form from 2011 and race application with waiver form 2012). I'd also be happy to contact the tenant who grazes horses so that he /she knows about the race. We would love to have the 3 of you come run the race with us if you have reason to travel to the Crozet area in Mid - October (it will likely be held the same weekend as the well -known Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival).
