The space is 3200 square feet and consists of a reception area, conference room, four offices, open space suitable for lab work or cubicles, kitchen, and restrooms. Office space will be provided for a director, executive assistant, business development specialist, UVA faculty working with the Institute's research clients, visiting faculty from other institutions, and UVA students working on faculty research projects. The initial focus of the Institute will be on topics related to national security, and the initial research clients are likely to be the National Ground Intelligence Center and its corporate contractors. The primary work conducted within Town Center Two will be information analysis, and our primary analysis tools will be computer software and hardware. We have provided a response to each of the areas referenced in Section 4:14, Performance Standards for Industrial Areas. Noise Our operation will not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the values specified in section 4:14.1. Vibration Our operation will not produce any detectable earthborn vibrations. Glare Our operation is completely within the building. The interior lighting associated with this operation does not produce glare that is visible beyond the lot line. Electrical Interference The Institute does not require any equipment that would generate electrical disturbance that would adversely affect the operation of equipment on any other lot or premises.
