APPLICANT INFORMATION
Market Name /Type: Oakencroft Farm Store
Describe the proposed business including use, number of vendors, available parking, and any additional
information that you can provide:
We plan to open a farm store on our property in the former Oakencroft Winery tasting room. We will
be tasting and selling the grape juice produced from the wine grapes we grow on our land. We will
feature grass -fed beef that is raised on our land, too.
We will also sell local products at our store, i.e., peach preserves, cheese, and bread. Oakencroft
Farm Store will have a copy of each vendor's license on file along with a copy of their last USDA or
health department inspections. No other vendors will be at the Farm Store. Oakencroft Farm part-
time employees will staff the Farm Store on Thursdays and Fridays from 1:00PM- 6:00PM. (Starting
date to be determined.)
There are 15 9'x18' parking spaces in front of the proposed store. Additional parking is available
around the building. Two bathrooms are available to the public in the former tasting room.
Alloy is working with us to create a sign. They will be submitting the permit application for this sign
soon.

Rebecca,
From the information that you sent me, it looks like the new store will access
oakencroft Lane, which I believe is a private road. with that in mind the
connection point that we are concerned with is where oakencroft connects to
Garth Road. Looking at the GIs, it appears that sight distance may be an
issue. I understand that oakencroft is an existing private road, but if they
will be intensifying the use on the entrance, we will need to make sure that
it is adequate for the additional use. Hopefully I will get by this site this
afternoon to look at the entrance. Let me know if you need any additional
information concerning this project.
