Property: The parcel on the south side of Barracks Road consisting of 21.82
acres — Tax Map 60, Parcel 68 - (Jack Jouett Magisterial District).
Owner: Hurt Investment Company (Barracks Road Land Trust)
Dear Mr. Roy:
In response to your application of January 10, 2012, requesting a zoning compliance
letter for the above referenced Property, please be advised of the following:
■ The undersigned is the Chief of Zoning/Deputy Zoning Administrator of the
County of Albemarle, Department of Community Development, which is
responsible for enforcement of zoning ordinances and similar codes or
ordinances related to the use of property in the above mentioned County.
■ The Property lies within the boundaries of Albemarle County and as Chief of
Zoning/Deputy Zoning Administrator for the County I am authorized to execute
this letter.
■ The Property is zoned Rural Areas (RA). The Property is also in the Entrance
Corridor (EC) Overlay District. The permitted uses in the RA zoning district are
outlined in §10 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance (attached).
■ There are currently no active zoning violations. The County has not instituted
any action or proceeding which is now pending before any court, quasi-judicial
body or administrative agency relating to the foregoing matters or to the Property.
