Lochlyn Hill Temporary Construction Off -Site Sign

To Whom It May Concern:
At their meeting on April 1, 2014, the Board of Zoning Appeals voted 4 -1 to approve a special use
permit for an off -site sign in accordance with the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance, subject to the
following conditions:
1. The sign shall comply with standards for a construction sign and shall contain a directional
component.
2. The sign shall not be illuminated in any manner.
3. The sign shall be removed at the earlier of either 5 years from the date of approval of this
Special Use Permit or when 75% of the dwelling units within the entire Lochlyn Hill Subdivision
obtain a Certificate of Occupancy. A request for an extension of one year must be made no
sooner than 2 weeks before the 5 year deadline and may be granted by the Zoning
Administrator.
If you are aggrieved by this decision, you have the right to appeal it within thirty (30) days of the date
of the decision, in accordance with Section 15.2 -2314 of the Code of Virginia. If you do not file a
timely appeal, this decision shall be final and unappealable. An appeal shall be taken only by filing a
petition specifying the grounds on which aggrieved with the Circuit Court of Albemarle County within
the prescribed thirty (30) days.
