To the County Engineer:
We are a wholesale distribution company with 6 warehouse locations in Virginia. Our existing warehouse located at
1575 Avon Street Extended Unit 101, Charlottesville, VA 22902 was opened in 2005. We sell prepackaged landscape and
turf management products produced by other manufacturers to municipalities, sports turf fields, golf courses, and
landscape contractors. We were formed over 30 years ago in Roanoke, Virginia where our headquarters remains today.
We have 3 —4 employees in our Charlottesville warehouse.
We have addressed the performance standards of Zoning Ordinance Section 18 -4.14:
Noise: Our relocated operation at 2424 Richmond Road will not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the
values specified in Section 4.14.1. The building is setback from Richmond Road. Our major sources of noise are: 1)
telephones, 2) truck deliveries of merchandise, and 3) forklifts operating in a warehouse environment.

Vibration: There is no unusual vibration beyond truck deliveries and forklifts operating in our warehouse.
Glare: Our operation is contained within the building, and no interior lighting associated with this warehouse produces
unusual glare. Our hours of operation are normal daily business hours.
Air Pollution: There will be no emission of smoke, odor or gaseous pollutants.
Water Pollution: No liquid wastes will be generated by this operation. Our operation does not represent a hazard to
water quality.

Radioactivity: Our operation does not require handling of radioactive materials. There will be no radioactive emissions.
Electrical Interference: Our operation does not require any equipment that would generate electrical disturbances.
