Norfolk, VA 23510 (the "Property ")
Dear Adina:
In response to your request for a Letter of Zoning Compliance for the above referenced
Property, please be advised of the following:
• The Property is zoned PRD, Planned Residential Development.
• The use of the property for Multiple - family dwellings is a permitted by -right use in the
PRD zoning district.
This Property is subject to the Site Development Plan, SDP -320 that was approved in
1974 and amended with SDP2005 -00084 on October 10, 2005. SDP2006 -00051 and
SDP2007 -00051 are plans for an adjacent development known as "The Woodlands" that
include minor changes to an entrance and parking for the development on the subject
Property. The Property has been developed per the approved plans. The 2005 plan
identifies the building setbacks as front -25', side -15' and rear 20'.
e The Property is not subject to certain proffered conditions, special use permits, variances
or other special limitations imposed by the County in connection with the zoning and use
of the Property.
• The Property is subject to the following overlay district(s): AIA, Airport Impact Area
Overlay and the Steep Slopes Overlay.
This office has no record of any open zoning or building violations for the Property.
This office is not aware of any nonconforming issues affecting the Property.
® This office no longer has copies of certificate of occupancy for the Property. See
Certificate of Occupancy statement on page 2.
o Copies of site plans, erosion & sediment control plans and certificates of occupancy can
be obtained from this office with a request through the department's Records Manager,
Ester Grace, 434 - 296 -5832 ext. 3823.

Certificates of Occupancy statement
A valid final certificate of occupancy has been issued and is now outstanding forthe Project.
(See Attached Copy Issued.)
X Certificates of Occupancy for projects constructed prior to the year 2010 are no longer on
file with this office. The Project was constructed in 1973. The absence of a certificate of occupancy
for the Project will not give rise to any enforcement action affecting the Project. A certificate of
occupancy for the Project will only be required to the extent of any construction activity (such as
restoring, renovating or expanding the Project or any part thereof).
We are unable to locate a certificate of occupancy for the Project from our records. We
have evidence in our records; however, that one was issued and has been subsequently lost or
misplaced. The absence of a certificate of occupancy for the project will not give rise to any
enforcement action affecting the Project. A certificate of occupancy for the Project will only be
required to the extent of any construction activity (such as restoring, renovating or expanding the
Project or any part thereof).
This office does not require, or issue, Certificates of Occupancy.
Certificates of Occupancy for this office are issued by another governing body. A copy
