Page 2 Under Sections 17-213, 214 and 215 of the Albemarle County Code, failure to make these corrections by the required date can have the following results: Your permit may be revoked. You may be required to submit a new Erosion and Sediment Control Plan and have it approved before additional land disturbance will be allowed. Review of a new plan can take up to 45 days for each submission and it is not unusual for several submissions before the plan can be approved. This requirement would include a new application, fee and bond for the work proposed under the plan. The County may issue a STOP WORK ORDER and seek relief in the Circuit Court. The Circuit Court can fine the property owner up to $2,000 per violation, convict the property owner of a Class I misdemeanor and require the property owner to pay any damages resulting from a failure to comply with this notice.
