Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you as adjoining, property owners to property owned by Mark Slezak
(owner/applicant), Eleanor Finger, Trustee of the Frank W. Finger Trust (owner) that they have
submitted a variance application. The properties are described as tax map 26, parcels 20A and
208; -zoned RA Rural Areas. The request is as follows:
Applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance requiring 150 feet of
frontage on an approved internal public or private road and from Section 6.4.C.2 that requires
resulting nonconforming lots in a boundary line adjustment to more substantially conform to
regulations. This is to complete a boundary line adjustment between two lots, both
nonconforming because they have no frontage on an approved public or private road. The
properties are located on Break Heart Road, approximately 1/2 mile west of Route. 673.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 2:00
p.m., in the Auditorium, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville,
Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Community Development
Departmej FirST oo , 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
Sincerely,
nald Higgins, AICP
Deputy Zoning Administrator
