Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you as adjoining property owners to property owned by Phyllis M. Hopkins
(owner/applicant) and M. Maxine Holland (owner) that they have submitted a variance application. The
properties are described as tax map 66, parcels 63 & 65, zoned RA, Rural Areas. The request is as follows:
Applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance that requires lots to havefrontage
on an approved public or private street and from Section 6.4.C.2 that requires resulting
nonconforming lots of a boundary line adjustment to more substantially conform to regulations to
allow an adjustment between 2 nonconforming lots. Properties are located off St. John's Road.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., in the
Auditorium, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Community Development Department,
First Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
