Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you as adjoining property owners to property owned by David Shultis that he
has submitted a variance application. The property is described as Tax Map 65, parcels 28 & 28A,
zoned RA Rural Areas. The request is as follows:
Applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance. The variance request is
for 150 feet of frontage on an approved internal public or private road in accord with Sec.
6A.C.2 that requires resulting nonconforming lots in a boundary line adjustment to more
substantially conform to regulations. This is to complete a boundary line adjustment
between two lots, both nonconforming because they have no frontage on an approved public
or private road. The property is located off Maxfield Road, approximately 1/3 mile S.E. of
Route 22.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at 2:00
p.m., in the Auditorium, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville,
Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Community Development
Department, First Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
