RE: Status of Site Development Plan approvals for the "Woodlands of Charlottesville ".
Dear Valerie:
As you requested, we have examined our records with respect to the project known as
"Woodlands of Charlottesville" located in Albemarle County, Virginia (the "Project "). The
original site plan for the Project (SDP2000600051) was approved on December 5, 2006, and
remains valid pursuant to state and local law through July 1, 2017.
I have also looked at site plan amendments and Letters of Revision for the Project, and they too
are valid through July 1, 2017. Because Architectural Review Board ( "ARB ") approvals are tied
to the site plan approvals, the ARB approval for the Project remains valid so long as the site plan
remains valid, thus the ARB approvals are also valid through July 1, 2007.
The County is still holding a bond for the Project in the amount of $293,000, which is the
storm water management portion of the Water Protection Ordinance bond. All other bonds
associated with the roiect have been released.
