HomeMy WebLinkAboutSP200800028 Legacy Document 2009-02-23 (2)COUNTY OF ALBFMARLF Department of Community Development 401 McIntire Road, Room 227 Charlottesville, Virginia 22902-4596 Plione (434) 296-5832 Fax (434) 972-4012 February 20, 2009 Sara Wingate, Lambert Architecture 2400 Reynolda Road Winston - Salem, NC 27106 RE: SP 2008-00028 BB&T Bank Crozet Tax Map 56, Parcel 110 Dear Ms. Wingate: Ori February 11, 2009, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action on SP #SP2008-00028 to allow for a drive-in window for a bank in accordance with Section 24.2.2 of the Zoning Ordinance which allows for drive-in windows serving or associated with permitted uses within HC [Highway Commercial] zoning on Tax Map 56, Parcel 110 in the White Hall District. This special use permit was approved based on the following conditions: Development shall be in general accord with the site plan titled "Grading, Site, and Utility Plan for BB&T", dated September 12, 2008; and The reduction in the required number of stacking spaces is limited to one (1) space. Further reduction will require an amendment to the special use permit. Please be advised that although the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action on the project noted above, no uses on the property as approved above may lawfully begin until all applicable approvals have been received and conditions have been met. This includes: compliance with conditions of the SPECIAL USE PERMIT; approval of and compliance with a SITE PLAN amendment; and approval of a ZONING COMPLIANCE CLEARANCE. In the event that the use, structure or activity for which this special use permit is issued is not commenced within twenty-four (24) months from the date of Board approval, it shall be deemed abandoned and the permit terminated. The term "commenced" means "construction of any structure necessary to the use of the permit."
