Given that the parcels involved have been placed under a Virginia Outdoors Foundation conservation easement, please consider advising the applicant to provide a letter from VOF stating that the use is consistent with the terms of the easement. 2. The narrative should be revised to state that no outdoor lighting is utilized for the event and that no new permanent structures are proposed. 3. Please revise the concept plan to show the property boundary. 4. Does the applicant intend to host Pink Ribbon Polo in the future? If so, the applicant may wish to state this in the narrative to allow up to one polo event per year with an attendance of up to 2,000. 5. The following may be considered as conditions of approval for the special use permit: • The polo season may run no earlier than the last Sunday in May and no later than the second Sunday in October. • No polo event shall exceed a maximum of 1,000 attendees. • Polo matches may be open to the public no earlier than 10 am and will close no later than 5:30 pm. • There shall be no announcer, no public address system, no amplified music, and no outdoor lighting associated with this event. • For each event, beginning at 11 am a VDOT- certified traffic controller shall be stationed at the farm entrance on Half Mile Branch Road to direct traffic. • No new permanent structures shall be constructed for this event.
