The sign at 11 sq ft is less than half the max allowable sign area. Proposed sign will direct traffic to the best of two existing entrances to the church that are located on Hillsdale Drive. SP 2008-034 Church of the Incarnation The sign will be located on County property used as a regional stormwater facility (TM 61Z Section 3 Parcel 9). Property is located on the east side of Hillsdale Drive, just north of the intersection with Branchlands Blvd generally across from Toys -R -Us and JABA. Review • VIDOT recommends " promoting the use of the southern most entrance by placing a sign at that location could potentially cause fewer conflicts with users of either entrance and will be an overall safer condition. I would recommend that the county approve this request ... for safety reasons."
