Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you as adjoining property owners to property owned by Redfields Land Trust
and Redfields Development Corporation that Redfields Community Association & Barry Condron
(appellants) have submitted an appeal application. The request is as follows:
Appellants appeal the Zoning Administrator's determination that Tax Map 76R Parcels 1 and
E4 are not required open space and may be sold to third parties, although any development
of them will require rezoning approval. Appellants contend that this property has been
designated as open space as defined in Section 4.7 of the Zoning Ordinance. Property is
located in Redfields subdivision. Parcel 1 is adjacent to the cul -de -sac at the end of
Fieldstone Road and lies just west of parcels off the cul -de -sacs for Kelsey Drive and
Wintergreen Lane. Parcel E4 is adjacent to the north of parcel 1 and lies just west of parcels
off the cul -de -sac for Laurel Glen. Tax Map 76R, Parcels 1 and E4 are zoned PRD, Planned
Residential Development.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at 2:00 p.m.,
in the Auditorium, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Community Development
Department, First Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
