Patricia Gulino Lansky Rev. Don Lansky Co- Ministers "The Church that Love is Build " ing. TO: VDOT — Attn: Joel FROM: Rev. Don Lansky RE: Unity Church SP DATE: July 14, 2010 Dear Joel: This letter is to confirm that in 2003, VDOT commented that a 100' turn lane and a 150' taper lane was required for the entrance of our church. The that time, however, Unity Church submitted a request for a design exception which was processed by VDOT and Approved. We also want to inform you that Unity Church has no current plans to increase the overall square footage of our building or the seating capacity of our sanctuary which is in alignment with this special use permit request. Finally, considering the above, Unity Church requests that VDOT honor the 2003 design exception. and modify their comments on the current special use permit application to state that the current design of a 50' entrance radius and 48' taper is adequate. Thank you very much for your consideration and approval. Sincerely, Rev.
