Dear Mr. Rasmussen:
The undersigned is the Manager of Zoning Administration of the County of Albemarle,
Virginia and has the authority to issue this certification. In response to your request
concerning compliance of the above -identified property with applicable laws and County
requirements, please be advised as follows:
The undersigned is the Manager of Zoning Administration of the County, which is
responsible for enforcement of zoning ordinances and similar codes related to the use
of property in the above mentioned County.
The14.924-acre property is currently zoned LI (Light Industrial), and the present use of
the property as self storage units is permitted within such zoning classification. The
improvements on the property may be rebuilt in their current size and density if they are
damaged.
The site is developed in accord with the most recent revision to the site plan, SDP -
2000 -124, approved on November 7, 2006.
A free standing sign is permitted to be located 20 feet from Route 742 in accord with a
variance, VA -86-11, approved on May 13, 1986.
We have no record of any unresolved zoning or subdivision ordinance violations on the
property.

The County has not instituted any action or proceeding pending before any court, quasi-
judicial body or administrative agency relating to the foregoing matters or to the
property.
The property has direct access to State Route 742, a public road.
The property was inspected on April 7, 2006 and found to be compliance with the site
plan.
You and your successors as Lender may rely on this Certificate in connection with the
loan to the Owner described above.
