Dear Mr. Wood:
The Board of Supervisors approved your rezoning application on ZMA20100014. Your request
to rezone 59.162 (portions) acres from Planned Development -Mixed Commercial (PD -MC)
zoning district which allows large -scale commercial uses; and residential by special use permit
(15 units/ acre) to Planned Development -Mixed Commercial (PD -MC) zoning district which
allows large -scale commercial uses; and residential by special use permit (15 units/ acre), in
order to amend the existing proffers was approved in accordance with attached proffers dated
January 12, 2011. Please refer to this document for any future applications and requests on
this property.
Please be advised that although the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action
on the project noted above, no uses on the property as approved above may lawfully
begin until all applicable approvals have been received and conditions have been met.
This includes:
• compliance with applicable PROFFERS;
• compliance with conditions of a SPECIAL USE PERMIT if any;
• approval of and compliance with a SITE PLAN; and
• approval of a ZONING COMPLIANCE CLEARANCE.
